Ahh, there’s nothing like making things go boom. I did enjoy the small amount of time I spent on my trading alt, gathering up some money as well as other supplies, but to me, it felt like wearing a suit – it feels good at first, but after a while you just want to get back to your usual jeans and t-shirt combo. So that’s exactly what I’ve done.

And christ, what a day to come back on. 2 hours just waiting in Heydieles and I’ve got 4 kills to my name, 5 if you include a pod (which, to be fair, was entirely the pilots fault, but I’ll get to that in a minute).

3 of them were completely standard kills. That is, warp in, scramble them, and shoot them until they start falling apart, venting things into space and generally becoming a small fireball of glee (for me, anyway). The fourth one however, played out slightly different. I warped in to a belt, and started targetting this guy. I noticed it was the same person I had I killed not 20 minutes earlier, so I thought I would ransom him this time around instead of blowing him to kingdom come again. And I would have done just that… but I noticed that he had logged off. With aggression. Right, fair enough.

Needless to say, I took my payment out of his ship instead. And then to add insult to injury, because my Vagabond is fitted with a probe launcher, I tracked down his pod (which had warped off from the wreck), and killed that as well. That’ll teach him. Bastard.
